posting problems

Only this blog post does not post to Facebook: http://jmkohnke.wordpress.com/2012/05/28/memorial-day/
It won’t even post when I try to past it on my Facebook page. Any reasons why not? All my other pages post just fine from within my wordpress account and facebook.

There appear to be lots of problems with posting to Facebook lately. If you try the full reconnect procedure detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step and it’s not successful there are 2 alternatives aside from manually posting.
Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Thanks for posting. Did all that . . . still didn’t work. It’s just this one post that won’t update in facebook. Very strange.

Just to be sure, did you try the crucial app deleting step in the full reconnect procedure?
Also, keep in mind that already published posts won’t be sent via Publicize. You’ll need to manually share this one.

I did follow the instructions exactly and deleted wordpress from facebook/refresh and remove facebook from wordpress/refresh.
I did manually try to share this post in Facebook again and got the endless loop. It never posted no matter long I waited.

Based on another thread, there appears to be an issue on Facebook’s end. URLs can’t even be shared by pasting them into a Link status on Facebook, which we have absolutely no control over.
I recommend contacting Facebook about this.
