Posting sticky posts on multiple pages?
-
Is there a way to sticky post on multiple pages? I have customized the menu and set up the pages I want and posted to each one of them by category. The front page is set to static. Now I would like to make these posts sticky as introductions to what each of the pages is about. My blog is bernalbookclub.Wordpress.com Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is there a way to make a sticky post on multiple pages? I have set the front page to static and set up a custom menu, as well as posted to each of the pages. I would like these initial posts to tell readers what the page is about with example content and if they are supplanted by subsequent posts it will be confusing to readers. Thanks

No there is noway to have sticky Posts on any page except on the main page for all published Post (not pages) which by default is the front page of the blog.

You are off on the wrong track when it comes to creating a custom menu.
Posts and Pages are not the same. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
Static Pages and dynamic Category Pages are not the same.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
The former cannot automatically update but the latter do.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/If you want to have pages that do update then the static page you created must be replaced by dynamic category pages that will automatically update every time you publish a post assigned to the relevant category.
By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning Categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

If your theme does display Category descriptions like mine does, example here http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/category/better-blogging/ you may be able to achieve what you want.
go to Dashboard – Posts – All Posts – Categories

Thank you so much timethief. Your website is exactly what I would like to achieve and then some. I am currently using the 2014 theme. It might support Category descriptions display, I’ll check into it. If not, I will switch over to the Expound theme that you use.
