  Hello, I would like to know if I can publish a site for absolutely free? I actually made a very good website with localhost-xampp, but now I have to move it to live version. Some YouTube videos are explaining that I have to use all in one wp migration plugin installed on both local and live WordPress. But in order to install it on live WordPress I need to upgrade… Is this true? Can I do it any other way?

  You can absolutely publish a site for free on our Free hosting plan. This plan comes with a free “your_name_here.WordPress.com“Site address and the ability to use WordPress themes we created in-house.

  You can also import content and media into sites on the Free plan using the option described here: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-a-sites-content/

  However, if you want to bring over a completely custom site with its own theme, plugins, and/or custom code, your WordPress.com site will need to be on our Creator plan or higher.
