Posting things on different pages?

  I want to post different topics to different pages, but have my home page a single static post that never changes, and never has anything post underneath it.
  For example, I want to post something about gardening on one page, and something about books on another page, but I don’t want them all to post on the same page or all the posts to be on every page. I tried to do the catagories thing and it does not work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
