Posting to a new "page"

  I have a word document with three charts that I have inserted as .jpg pictures. When I copy and paste there are two problems. First, the text is improperly formatted into awkward “chunks”. Second, the charts, which I saved as pictures and inserted into the document do not show up at all.

  Microsoft Word is a word processor, and as such contains a lot of proprietary formatting information that won’t transfer over.

  Pasting from it is not recommended, but if you do, you need to use the Paste from Word button: http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/

  When you paste an image into a Word document, all it saves is the location of the image, not the image itself.
