    How do you post to a different page than the home page. I have looked over this site for two hours and can’t seem to make this work. Please help. {BTW Post vs. Page did NOT help me.}

    The home page is the webpage on which you see your posts. The pages are separate webpages that when created are accessed via a menu or menu widget. You can post to the home page by just typing an entry (post) and it automatically posts. To post to a page instead, you need to first create a page, then do a post pretty much as normal but in that particular editor. I know it’s confusing at first, but you’ll get the hang of it in time.

    On your dashboard at the left, click on ‘Pages’ and you’ll see ‘new page’. Click that and you’ll get the editor where you can type and then publish the page you want.

    Thanks for your help, but I don’t want to make a new “page.”

    Someone else set up the blog with separate “pages” along the menu items at the top. The original person then wrote an initial post. I have not been able to add any new post to any of those pages (except the home page)… is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance.

    No, you cannot post to a page.
    Please read this article:

    Essentially posts and pages are completely different and you must clearly understand the differences.

    You have only one dynamic page per blog. Dynamic means that it changes every time you make a new post. The blogging software places the new post above the list of all your other posts. This is automatic. or dynamic.

    What you need to do is to add categories to your posts. If you use a category widget you will clearly see that you can link to the category pages. Then make a custom menu for top or side navigation or use a menu widget so your readers find all of your posts in a specific category.

    It looks as though you are posting to a page, but technically that is not what is happening.

    BTW, http://lisosky.wordpress.com/ is an empty blog. Are you asking about another blog? If so, please provide a link starting with http:// if you have more questions.
