posting to blog directly from a web site

I’m not sure if this question should go here or to the CSS forum. In any case, I suppose you folks will tell me.

I reblogged a post today from another blogMeet Naoto Matsumura, the guardian of Fukushima’s animals.. In reblogging, I got the entire post, including all the pictures and text of the blog post. Getting the whole shebang in the reblogging made it a whole lot easier and more attractive for me on my blog.

The thing is, this post that I reblogged had, I’m sure (by looking at the publishing dates), taken the pictures and text from a website that received no credit Naoto Matsumura. The reason I myself reblogged the post rather than taking the post directly from the website is that the only thing I could get by posting a link to the website is just that: only a link to a website (i,e., no pictures, etc.), which brings me to my question:

Is there any way that I can take a post from a website (pictures and all) in the same way that I can reblog a post from another blog?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There isn’t. The reblog function only works between WordPress.com sites. In a case like you describe, the best thing to do is reblog the post like you did and give credit to the original site in your commentary on the reblog.
