Posting to Facebook

I have the Free version of WordPress. I just completed my first blog post and would like to post it on Facebook. I connected my Facebook account by clicking on the sharing tab on the left-hand side of the ‘My Site’ page. However, I am unable to post to my page. I’m brand new to these services and to blogging, using WordPress, etc. overall. I would really like some assistance on getting my work on Facebook.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One has to enable and authorize Publicize for that to happen. go to My Site → Sharing in your dashboard and disconnect the Publicize app.

Although for some reason I am still having an issue getting my post on FB. I followed all the steps that were presented to me via the links you replied with. I connected, disconnected, went to the app settings on FB, tried reconnecting again. I’m still failing to remedy the situation. Hmm….

After connecting/reconnecting the services, you need to publish a new post to test if Publicize is reconnected.

Does trying to post something that was published 3 days ago have anything to do with my issue?
Or what about having the free version of WordPress?
Just looking for solutions here.
