Posting to Menu headings
-
Is there a way to set up your blog so new posts can be assigned to category titles? Or can you only post an entry to your main page? Mine is a class website and i was wondering if there is a way to post for each individual class? Thank you!!!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your blog only has one main feed and all posts go there, but it is possible to have feeds for different categories display on different pages.
The easiest way is to set up category pages using a custom menu. Any post assigned to a specific category will then display on that page. If you want a post to display on multiple pages, then just assign that post to multiple categories.

This way you can also write static content, like an introduction, on the page, which you can’t do with category pages. You can read more about how the shortcode works here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/
If you don’t want the main feed containing all posts to display at all, then follow the instructions to set up a static home page, but don’t set up a posts page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
