posting under a specific page

    I have 2 pages under the “Page management” how do I post an entry on the second page (not the “About” page)?

    And why is it that there is no “Home” page under the Page Management, although there is a “Home” link when I view the site?
    How do I edit the “Home” page, cos when I click “home” or “About” it just stays still, it is actually the same page… redundancy….

    Thanks for your help

    Some themes have “Home” and some have “Blog” and they are hard-coded into the theme. You cannot edit or remove them. They are the running posts page that your new blog posts are automatically displayed on.
    A blog is not a website. Blogs have only one automatically updating running posts page.
    If you want to create new pages for static content (not automatically updating) you can create as many as you want. But first you must be clear on the difference between pages and posts. This thread contains that explanation as well as the instructions for creating pages and posts. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/

    Helping you would also be easier if you clicked on “View your profile” at the top of this forum page and edited you profile to include the url to your blog and saved the change you made. If you did that then your username would be linked to your blog and we could see which theme you have chosen and give you specific information about it. If however, your blog has “adult/mature” content of a sexual nature then do not link your username to your blog.

    i want to post under “Blah blah”

    @yodee
    I’m not sure I clearly understand you. And I’m not sure that you read carefully my post above.
    Some themes will automatically post your username and others will not. If “blah blah” is not your username that you registered with at wordpress.com and you choose a theme that automatically supplies the correct username you registered with then you cannot change this to “blah blah”.
    You can find specific information about your theme in the theme reviews here http://engtech.wordpress.com/tools/wordpress/wordpress-theme-reviews/

    ok, i think i understand what you mean. i’m just confused about my post page, and how does it diff with static page. it is just my theme that does not allow me to swap static page. thanks

    Your theme is hard-coded to work exactly as it is doing now. You cannot edit that coding. We all work on the same multi-user blogging platform and if you could change anything hard-coded into the theme to suit you, this would mean everyone else who has the same theme would find it changed too. Your best bet is to read the theme reviews and find one that does what you want it to do and change your blog to it. :)
