Posting Video to WordPress through Coding

Hi,
Can anyone guide, how i can add/post a video, uploaded on my site, to the wordpress.com. In other words, i need to provide a feature, whereby my site member can add their favorite videos into their wordpress.com account. Thus, i need to provide this feature through ASP .NET 2.0 as my project is based on it. If anyone, can help me in doing so, it would be a great help -
You cant, only a few sties are supported i believe. Upload them to the likes of youtube and you can then embbed the youtube vid in the post

You would be doing that with regular wordpress that would be hosted elsewhere. Since wp.com is a shared environment, end users like us are not allowed to submit code and/or modify the underlying files.
You are free to submit this request via feedback but I’m 99.9% sure that’s what they’re going to tell you.

Thus, can you tell me, is there any way or third party tool, in order to achieve my goal. My requirement is, from my site, user can publish their uploaded videos to other sites (into their account/profile). So, please guide me on it, as soon as possible. Thank You for reply.

If I understand your original question well, your site will host videos, similar to YouTube. If this is correct, then you’d need to create an API or generate the embed code – like YouTube does – and contact Automattic directly and ask them if they would include your code in their application.
If this is not what you want, I’d suggest you to contact Automattic directly anyway and tell them what is it that you want to do. IMO, since they’re the developers of wordpress.com, they’re better suited to answer any questions that you may have regarding this matter.

No, there is no way to do this through WordPress.com. WordPress.com is a blogging tool, not a video uploading tool. You can find out what kind of videos you’re allowed to post at WordPress.com blogs by using the FAQ.

Either that or grab the software from http://wordpress.org and find yourself a host. As noted up above, you would be able to place your own code within your posts without causing a security risk to anyone else as it would be a single blog.
