Posting videos

  So far I’ve only used youtube videos on my blog. That’s easy. But some of the email funnies I get sent to me contain videos with other formats like wmv and flv. What’s the best way for me to include them along with the other funnies I’ve been putting up?

  You would have to upload them to a video sharing service such as VodPod, or DailyMotion and then use the similar procedure for those video as you use for youtube, but with the appropriate shortcode.

  Alternately, do a search on youtube for the videos since I seldom find anything that hasn’t already been posted there.

  Imagine me smacking myself upside the head! It never occurred to me that I could create a VodPod account without nay original videos to store there. It did occur to me to search youtube, but couldn’t decide on what to type into the search box and my system is waaaaay too slow for a lot of repetitive searching.
