Posting without email notification to subscribers

  Hello
  I’m wondering if there is a way to post a few posts that do NOT get emailed to subscribers.

  IE
  I may want them to appear as links only. IE perhaps one post would be emailed to them, and page links (other posts) NOT emailed to them. This may be a way to add a whole lot of content without bombarding my subscribers.

  Is that possible?

  Yes, temporarily set your site to private, publish the posts and then set the site back to public (settings > privacy).

  ok, that didn’t seem to work as I received email notification (I subscribe of course to my own blog)

  Wonder if I did something wrong…
