postpage shows static frontpage's content

  hi there!

  I created a static front page and a page for my daily posts. In “settings”/”read” I clicked the check-box for a static page and chose “home”. For frontpage I chose “blog”, which I had created before.

  Problem: “Blog” shows the same content as “Home”. The buttons for both are highlighted at the same time.

  Interesting: In the pages menue, where you can quick-edit everypage I clicked “view”. If I view the page “BLOG” here it does show my posts.

  Does anyone have an idea? Thamks in advance

  This is a problem with your menu, your settings are fine – if you go to lichtmaschinist.wordpress.com/blog/ you can see your posts are displayed. Try setting up a custom menu to make sure you have complete control of what appears in your main navigation bar.

  Thanks a lot, halluke. I set up a new menue and now everythings works. Great.
