Hello, I’m having a problem about my blog, not a big deal though, but anyway.. I wanted to publish my articles in my blog, but I didn’t want them to be shown off completely in the main page.
What I’m trying to say is that I wanted to know how can I change or edit my posts to be shown in my blog, but not the complete article, it’d be just like an introduction about what I wrote and in the end of the introduction i’d have like dots ‘(…)’ and if someone wanted to keep riding it, that someone would have to click to access to the page of the full article.
I don’t know if I’m being clear enough..
Anyway.. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say and I hope you’ll be able to help me xxThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
There are two ways you can do this, the ‘more tag’ and excerpts.‘More tag’: this splits up a post and only part of it will show on the homepage. A reader will need to click a link to read the entire post. From your description, it sounds like this is what you want. Here’s the guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
Excerpts: rather than splitting up a post like the ‘more tag’, excerpts let you use whatever words you want, whether it’s the introductory paragraph or a summary or something else. One downside is that excerpts are dependent on what theme you’re using and may not display on the homepage. Here’s the guide for that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/excerpts/
