  Hi,
  I have been testing out using posts (I only have static pages at the moment) and I am having some problems.

  1) I dont seem to be able to get to a page of posts in reverse chronilogical order – I can only get to each test from my static home page via the widget
  2) my sticky post doesnt seem to be sticking.

  Re no.1: Publish a new (blank) page, titling it “Posts” or whatever you see fit, next go to Settings>Reading and set it as your posts page.

  (Then we’ll see about no.2.)

  Great – now got a page and on that page the sticky post is at the top!
  it wont ever be at the top on the recent posts widget right?

  That’s correct, because that widget shows the posts in order of freshness. Sticky posts are never fresh.
