Hello, When I create a post the whole post appears on the page. How do I manage it where it shows part of my post and then add a ‘Read more’ section people need to click on to read all of the post? I cannot seem to locate any instructions for this.

Also, I have seen another blogger with the same theme, have a set featured image for their new posts when you click into it but also a circular image on the main home page above the new post. How do I set a circular image i addition to the featured image when clicking into the post?

    Thanks

@kikicolarossi – If you are talking about the site linked to your username inspiredwhite.wordpress.com the theme you’ve chosen, Ecto https://wordpress.com/themes/ecto/ displays the full post by default on the homepage.

But it’s not necessary to pick another theme as @wowgraphicdesigning says, unless you wish to.

I’ve done a search for you on the WPcom Support site and these are the results I get when searching for the exact phrase “read more” https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=read+more Look at the first result for “More tag”.

Let us know if you need any further help with that.
