How do I change which page/tab each post gets published to? Every time I try to post something it goes straight to my ‘Blog’ tab but I want them to be under other tabs. I tried to use the Homepage settings to change but it didn’t change anything once I posted again. (i.e. I tried posting something about one of my kids under my ‘kids’ tab but it went to my ‘blog’ tab.

Hi There,
What I understand is you would like to have a category as the menu item and have posts for those categories displayed under that.
For that first you need to create categories, then assign the posts the categories you want, then add those categories as category pages in the menu.
For example, if you create a category “Kids” and assign a post to this category, you can add the category ‘Kids’ as a category page in your menu to display that specific post.
Create Categories:1)Go to My Site → Posts→ Categories.
2)Click on Add new Categories.Check this link too: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#adding-categories
Assigning Posts to Categories:
Go to My Sites → Site → Posts
1)Click on the post you want to assign to a category.
2)Under Post Settings on the right, expand the Categories option.
3)Click the checkbox next to the category you want the post to be assigned to and publish your changes.
Check this link for more details: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#assigning-posts-to-categoriesAdd a category page to your menu:
1)Go to My Sites → Appearance → Customize
2)Go to Menus.
3)Select the menu to edit.
4)Click on Add Items.
5)Select Categories.
6)Click the Plus icon next to the Category you want to add.
7)Click Publish to save the changes.Check this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#category-pages-menus
Please write back if you have any questions.
Thanks :) -
