  Hi

  I am using the using the Sela theme and want to have a “read more” function on my news post is there a way to do this?

  I have just read that the insert read more tag will not work in pages!!!

  anyway round this?

  Right now it looks like your front page is set to display your blog posts. There is one blog post named News with different sections in it.

  How are you planning to use this part of your site? If you want people to see News and the beginning of the post, you can use the More Tag (since this is a post not a page).

  My advice, unless I’m missing part of the goal of this page, would be to use multiple different posts, each with its own More Tag.

  For example, instead of one post named News, you could have two different posts:

  Spring Gala Training Session Changes
  and
  Long Course Training Session Changes

  Then, as time went on, you could add additional updates with unique titles. Each post would have it’s own More Tag, and could be viewed individually.

  I see you have implemented the more tab and I like how you done this. I think I will stick to this and keep adding news with the more tab that you have included.

  Great! I’d actually meant to remove that after I tested it for you, but I’m glad you like it :)

  You can move it to a different part of the post, or you can use the multiple post method I described (this might be easier to manage in the long run than a single, ongoing post)
