  I accidentally discarded a post. Is there any way to retrieve it? I was working on it on my iPhone.

  you can recover them from your trash:

  https://wordpress.com/support/trash/#restoring-from-trash

  However, if 30 days have passed since you deleted it, you won’t be able to recover them.
