  Why cant people view my posts

  Hi There,

  It could be possible the visibility of the posts are set as Private due to which people cant view your posts. You can change the visibility of any post under the Post Settings. Go to MySite-> Posts, then open the post you want to edit to change visibility. On the right side, you will Post settings, from there change the visibility as shown in the screenshot and then click the Update button on top.

  Forgot to mention:-
  Change the visibility from Private to Public, so that others can view the posts.

  Hi! You’ve picked a theme that, by default, was made for a “Coming Soon” message or a single-page site. It isn’t built for a navigable blog.

  Laporte is a minimalist theme, designed for single-page websites. Its single post and page layouts have no header, navigation menus, or widgets, so the page you design in the WordPress editor is just the same page you’ll see on the front end.

  For your site, you might try a theme like Baskerville. You’d need to do a few customizations, which you can try out here:

  1) Set Front Page to Posts

  2) Under Content Options, may be choose Excerpts on the front page and not featured images on inside pages

  3) Try adjusting the Site Identity settings and Header, if you’d like.

  If you like it, you can save the changes! Otherwise, you can head back to https://wordpress.com/themes and find one you like. Try searching for blog in the list.

  Note: most of these can be customized to include a blog, but it’s sometimes easier to work with one that’s already designed that way. And, if you choose to switch themes and change your front page, just note you’ll want to re-add your cover image to that.
