  I am using the forever theme and my posts are not showing up as full text it is just showing the excerpt (this is in my categories page and home page). I have tried unselecting the feature image but it would still show as a summary and not full story. I have also been into settings – reading to ensure full text is selected and I don’t have it on static page.
  Also if I select one of my posts to be a sticky post does that mean the actual story doesn’t show on the posts list too you have to actually click on the image. I am not very technical so if you could help I would be very grateful. – http://lovinglymadeblog.wordpress.com/

  Hi there – The setting in Settings->Reading doesn’t control how your posts appear on your blog itself, but only how it appears in email subscriptions and in RSS readers.

  The theme you are using controls whether excerpts or full text posts are shown, and there isn’t any way to change this. With Forever, posts with featured images display an excerpt and otherwise should be full text. It also looks like all of your posts are using the Gallery post format. You can read more about post formats here:

  Forever displays gallery posts as you see yours displaying there. Try editing them and picking “Standard” post format instead. Then, if there’s no featured image, they should show full text.

  Yes, for the sticky posts that are shown in the slider, they’re omitted from the post list below, so they don’t show up twice. If you unsticky them, they’ll show below.
