posts, and how they appear on the blog

  hey!

  this might be a bit amateurish…but my blog is still evolving.

  up til now, all the posts on http://iedei.wordpress.com have been displayed on the main page of the blog in their ENTIRETY. Is there any way for me to simply post maybe 10 lines of the article, and then have the user click “Read More” to display the ENTIRE post?

  I hate having the WHOLE article there on the page, and my statistics are off now—-because i can’t see how many people looked at which posts, yknow?

  any help would be most appreciated.
