Is it possible to separate your blog posts on seperate pages?
Kind of like separating them into subjects or something. Darnit, I’m having trouble describing what I mean….Okay, you can make different pages on your blog. Like your about page and whatnot. You can edit them and rename them as you see fit. What i’m trying to find out is if you can choose which page your blog posts appear on or if it only posts to the main page.
And if not, then I FULLY suggest it. It just sounds like it would help keep things nice and neat. ^-^

Custom menus will allow you to put your Post categories/tags and even authors into the navbar.

I have the same issue as the Lovely Miss Quinn has. I have a recipe blog and would like to create a separate page for each of the different types of recipes, such as a Southwest Page and a Greek Page, for example, but it appears that I can only put one blog on a page unless it is the main page.
I am using menus, so I can reference the different pages and blogs, the menu widget is really cool. I might as well delete my about page, as I can just make an about blog and forget about pages.

Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ that we bloggers create are static ie. they do not automatically update with new content. Only dynamic pages (ie. categories, tags, archives) which are automatically created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically.
There is only one dynamic page for posts that automatically updates in a blog and all posts will display on that page. There is no way to exclude posts from the main posts (blog) page. By default the front page of the blog will display your posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. If you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page. We organize posts by assigning Categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages created by the software into the custom menu. Note that until there is one published post in any category there is nothing that can be displayed on the dynamic categories pages

Write all your posts (recipes) on the home/front/blog/dynamic page. You have only one such page which updates each time you write a post.
Be sure to add categories to each post. For example a category for “Southwest Food” a category for “Greek Food” and so on.
Then you can find all the posts under each category on a so called “category page”
Use the links to each category page in a custom menu. When a reader is interested in “Greek food” she/he will see the navigation tab to all your posts on that topic.
