Posts appearing on all categories

    This is a new site based off of an old one that got infected. I imported the posts that i needed, put on a display menu with all the categories, and it simply did not matter. Whichever category i choose, it shows me all of my posts. I’ve tried creating a new category and adding the posts onto that, but it is still the same. I just recently started working on wordpress, so i don’t know what to do.
