Posts appearing on static front page (do not want)

  Hi. I have just published my first blog post, & a brief summary is showing up on my static front page. I want my static front page “About” to only display my welcome message, & all blog posts to show up on the “Blog” page.

  I have my Reader section set to the following:
  Front page displays
  A static page (select below)
  Front page: About http://elizabethlieutenant.com/
  Posts page: Blog http://elizabethlieutenant.com/blog/

  If anyone can help me with this, I’d greatly appreciate it.
