Posts appearing on static home page

  Hi, I’m a beginner with WP and am creating a new blog site. I have created a homepage and blog page. For homepage displays, I have selected a static page then selected my homepage and blog page.

  The issue I’m having is that the blog posts are still appearing on my homepage. They appear under my header/menus.

  I’m using Lavander Lite theme.

  How do I remove the blog posts from my homepage? Thanks!

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
