Posts appearing on two pages

    Hi,

    I have a category called blog. When I add a new post and check this category, it posts not only to this page but also to a page I want static.
    The front page is labelled static but I don’t see an option for labelling other pages as static or post (I have seven pages in total).
    I would appreciate any help
