Posts are appearing with an ‘edit’ link

    Hi,
    I’ve had a WordPress blog for a few years now. After I post a new blog entry, I usually check it on a few different devices to make sure there aren’t any formatting errors. Lately, I’ve noticed that when I check the link to the blog entry it goes to an *editable* entry. It seems to even do this from public links (such as when I post the link to my Twitter page or to Facebook). I’m worried I’ve done something horribly wrong to my blog and anybody can now get in and start changing or deleting entries. I should be the only one who can edit or delete entries.
    Please help! Is there a way I can at least be sure my links to other social media sites only allow others to READ the post not EDIT it?

    Hi. Love the username. You should only be seeing the Edit feature when you’re logged into your account. Are you also seeing the Edit feature when you’re logged out of your account?

    Same issue here. Newbie user. Not logged into the user account. Issue appears on tablet and desktop. Different browsers. What should I look for?
