Posts are being hidden

    I don’t understand how I can go from new posts getting views and likes to absolutely nothing in a matter of a week. Why is WordPress hiding my posts so no one can see them? This is my second blog because I had the same issue on my first blog. It’s not worth doing if no one is reading.

    Hi,

    I did some digging and it looks like your blog got caught in an automated monitoring process. I’ve got it sorted out now and your posts should show up in the reader again.

    No. It’s not fixed. I posted something today and same thing. No views. It’s been published for about 8 hours now. Please fix this.

    We had fixed the issue yesterday, but it appears that the automation caught your blog again. We’re reaching out to see what might be happening here, but since it’s the weekend, we may not hear anything back until Monday.

    What’s going on? You did this to my other blog I’ve had since 2015 and I didn’t know how to contact so I basically stopped using it and started using this one. Have you fixed the issue, for good this time, or not?

    Yes, this is now fixed, and it won’t happen again. We’ve excluded your site from our automated monitor.

    You didn’t fix anything. I went back and deleted all the posts from when the issue happened in hopes of reposting them all. I’ve reposted two so far. The exact same thing. No traffic. No views, likes, ect. I tried to look for the post, a book review in the reader. The reader gave me a few of the most recent post under the tag “book review” but showed a black page as I scrolled down. Refreshing the page didn’t help. I then switched the post to draft and published. Guess what? I went to the reader and searched and once again, it wasn’t there. You want people to use your site. You also want people to pay for the site. How can you possible expect people to pay for this. You killed my first blog I’ve had since 2015 by hiding those posts and I made this new blog and within no time at all you’ve done the exact same thing. Two blogs killed in a year. A user since 2015 and never had any sort of issue until now on two different blogs.

    Hmm… we’ll keep working on this, then. I’m not sure what’s causing it. Not a common issue for sure. We’ve let the team know.

    Do you do that often? I wonder if unpublishing and republishing posts is triggering some kind of problem.
