Posts are duplicating after switching to 2014 theme

I’ve switched to the 2014 theme recently and now every post i’ve made has been duplicated. The duplicate seems to just be a summary with a link to the full post. It doesn’t seem to copy any tags or anything.
Is this a problem with the theme or is there some hidden setting that i’m just not finding that duplicates posts once i publish?

When you look in Posts->All Posts, are they duplicated? Is it just one post, or all posts that are duplicated?

Yes they are duplicated in All Posts. And so far it has been all posts since i switched. I’ve thrown all the duplicates in the trash except for the most recent to leave up as an example.

I’m not completely sure, but it’s almost like your blog is automatically publicizing or using the “press this” feature to re-share each post. I looked under sharing and couldn’t find anything that would cause such an action but you might check to see if you find something I missed. There could also be a sharing box checked somewhere on your posting page. . .I’ll also tag this for staff assistance. I’m sure someone will be able to crack the case.

Yeah that’s about what i was thinking also. I’ve scoured the dashboard for any setting that could be causing it but apparently i’m missing something.

It’s making that second post with the -2 automatically. I only have to click Publish once and they both show up.

Edit http://denanetherton.me/2014/07/07/sweeten-with-grace-2/ and delete it.
Note: The “2” indicates that you have a published post with an identical title that has not been permanently deleted from Trash.

I’ve been going through and deleting the -2 posts since this started. I left this last one up as an example though. But for my last 5 posts with completely original names, as soon as i hit publish it will create the post I want as well as the -2 at the same time. Sure I could just delete it every time but that seems pointless as it shouldn’t be doing this in the first place. This also sends out 2 separate emails to my readers and posts twice on facebook. So deleting it will only fix my blog but not the notifications that go out as well. I could switch to another theme but i like the look of the 2014. Although I haven’t seen any other users posting similar errors for the 2014 theme in the forums so i’m guessing this is more of a settings error than a problem with the theme.
