Posts are not being delivered via email

I have had several people say that they are having trouble getting notices of my blog posts in their emails. they tell me they either never get them or get them late. They are not Word press bloggers themselves. I don’t know if there’s something I can do to fix this since I know so little about computers in the first place. Please advise.

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Yes, thank you. MarybHuels, and databbiesotrouttowne (they just told me today they were having trouble getting my posts notices.) These are the 2 with the most problems that have let me know about it repeatedly. We have all tried different things to make them get the posts, but to no avail. Thank you so much for all your help.

Unfortunately I’m not aware of any problems with our emails going out to blog subscribers. For the moment, please keep a close eye on this and see if the problem continues for your new posts. Also make sure that your friends have the proper settings to receive emails instantly:
