Posts are not of the same width as other pages

    Hey,

On my website I have a few pages. For each of them I chose “Template” to be “Full Width, No Sidebar”, what made those pages’ content wider than default, and I liked that effect very much.

However, when I wrote a post I could not select a “Template” for it. As a result the post’s content is of “default” size.
This is an example page: https://wojtsterna.com/test/
And this is the post: https://wojtsterna.com/2023/05/21/post-test/

I’d really love posts to be consistent in size/width with pages. How do I achieve that?

    Cheers

Templates for the theme you are using cannot be set for the individual single post pages. On the newer themes that support the new WordPress Site Editor, you would have the ability to edit the single template used for posts, and make it wider.

You can review the Site Editor themes we have available and see if any look interesting to you.

If you are not familiar with it, you can have a look at the Site Editor support page, to see how it works.

In addition, this Site Editor search of our Support pages will have a number of very useful links.

We also have some Webinars and courses that you might want to look through.

If you’re looking for self-paced guidance I recommend our Webinars and Courses. Here’s a link to each of those:

Thank you @thesacredpath. I did find the site editor. I was not aware that some themes do support it while others don’t. It’s certainly good to know, but in the end I found a different theme called Plane, which I liked the most visually, and it does not have that width inconsistency problem.
