Posts are not showing up in reader feed

I saw this question posted a number of times on the forum, but I couldn’t find any good explanation for this issue. My blog posts are not showing up on the reader. It’s not a tag issue, they aren’t even showing up when I specifically click on my blog (see this screen shot: https://livingonagreenthumb.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/loagt.jpg). I checked my privacy settings and I’m not set to private (I still get some search engine traffic, too). I just don’t seem to be showing in the reader. Am I missing something?

Hi, I noticed that I seem to have disappeared from the reader as well. My new posts aren’t showing up in the reader, however they still show up under the “poetry” tag though.
I’ve tried clearing my browser, refreshing the page, logging in and out a few times, but nothing changes. I couldn’t imagine that it would be an issue of tagging. What could it be?

I just followed your blog and took a look at my Reader. Your posts seem to be appearing correctly:
Can you try clearing your cache and reloading WordPress.com? Cache instructions here:
Let me know if that doesn’t force the Reader to “fetch” new posts!

I’ve cleared my cache and deleted all my cookies, but it doesn’t seem to have worked (for me at least). I just published a test post and it appears to be showing in my follower’s reader but not in mine.
I checked my app as well and I’m having the same issue on my phone.
Is there an option somewhere in the settings section I may have changed by accident?! I’m quite clueless. :D

This is a two-pronged issue. First, when you’re away for awhile and we try to fetch all of the posts that have been published since you last viewed your Reader, there can be a slight delay before new posts appear. Therefore, the post might not appear immediately, but it will appear after several hours. For example, when logged in under your account, I see your post titled “Outside” here:
Second, since you have quite a few subscriptions at WordPress.com, after a few hours, your Reader is already filled with quite a few other posts. Therefore, when the post does appear, it’s already pretty far down the list.
We’re working on a solution for the future. As of right now, the best “fix” when you notice this happening would be to clear your browser cache as described here:
Then, refresh the page.
