Posts aren’t being published on time when using post scheduler

This is an issue that I have encountered quite often.

An example of this would be when I completed a post at 7am and schedule it to be published at 9am, but instead I end up getting a notification that it was posted at 10am, an hour later. There have even been times where I’ve scheduled a post to be published at a certain time and it ends up being posted a few hours later, making my site miss out on potential views during the day.

One way I’ve been able counter this problem is to remind myself to go to my dashboard a couple of minutes before the scheduled publish time and be on it until I see the post automatically get published. I have to do this often and it’s rather very inconvenient.

You’re welcome. You’re also only the second person to say thanks in the last 100 or so threads I’ve commented on here. It’s a funny old world.
