posts aren't showing up in the proper order on the front page
-
Hello,
for some reason, the most recent posts on my blog aren’t showing up at the newest article. for example, my newest article is showing up as 2nd to the last and the 2nd newest article is showing up as the last article on the page.
I have the reading setting set so that the front page displays the latest post.
any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

For starters we need a link to the blog that you are asking about beginning with http – the site linked to your name is blank so I see no problem with your single default Post.
-
sorry about that:
http://neoconsmustfall.wordpress.com/this is my most recent article:
http://neoconsmustfall.wordpress.com/2011/05/07/gingrich-id-stop-gay-rights-progress/but as you can see, on the main page, it’s 2nd to the last.

Have you made one or more posts into a “sticky” post? We mark posts as Sticky to make them appear above the other posts. See here because you will have to check them and be sure the option that says “Stick this post to the front page” in the Publish settings on any post is not enabled. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

It sounds like your blog needs Staff intervention Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

You have multiple posts on one day. Sometimes when you do that, it gets out of order; I’m not sure why. You can just edit the time each was posted at until they’re in the right order.

thanks. I went ahead and did that and it appears to work. Like you, I wonder why it does that. It would be nice to see a permanent fix so people don’t have to manually edit the time stamps on the articles.

@andrewshemo
I’m so glad to hear you resolved this. When Staff do get back to you please be sure to explain exactly what’s happening and what you had to do so they look into this and fix it.
