Posts Automatically adding a Comma at End of Permalink
-
When I try to create or edit a (blog) post, the permalink is automatically attaching a comma at the end. Here’s a screenshot of the phenomena: https://web.northeastern.edu/spower/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/weberror.png
Not sure what’s causing this (I’m using an unedited “Baton” theme), but the result is that my blog posts are visible on the blog page, but cannot be visited on their individual page (either via direct URL or by clicking on the page link on the list of blog posts) – throwing a 404 ERROR when visited this way.

Hi there,
You’ve reached support for WordPress.com hosted websites which are stored on our servers. Your site,https://web.northeastern.edu/spower is using the self-hosted version of WordPress (from WordPress.org) hosted by your organization.
Since we do not have access to your site we are unable to support self-hosted sites. You’ll find more on the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites at:
If you’ve installed any plugins or custom code try disabling them if you’re still having trouble switch to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen. Finally, for support reach out to your organizations WordPress support or find community help at https://wordpress.org/support
