Posts Becoming Spam Comments

Hey all-something weird is going on. For the past three days, every time I post, my post gets applied to my blog as usual, but it ALSO shows up as a spam comment. This is not visible to my readers, but is a nuisance to me, because every time I post I also need to delete my spambox which contains my comment. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks!

In the post, do you have a link to another post in your blog or something?

I do indeed have a link to a previous post there. Maybe that is the reason?

Yes that is the reason. Those are pingbacks/trackbacks. It will happen anytime you include a link to another of your posts or pages in a new post. You can keep them if you want or you can delete them. They should not be ending up in your spam folder though. If they are then you need to contact staff directly on that at http://support.worpdress.com/contact/ .
