Posts being copied into comments

  Last night I posted to my blog and immediately a spammy looking link dropped into my comments. Just now, the same thing happened, with a separate blog – and the blog today has all comments closed. I deleted the comments, but I am wondering what may be causing this.

  sounds like you got a trackback from a splog. if that’s the case, there isn’t much you can do about it except to delete the trackback. here’s a relevant thread:

  i thought ip address are numbers? but i don’t know much about this stuff myself. =) best is just to delete the trackbacks and ignore them.
