Posts by Menu?
-
Hello,
I have been working on creating a teacher’s blog for my classes next year. I’m teaching two different classes (English II and English II Pre-AP), so I want to be able to sort posts so that English II students will see only English II posts when they click the ‘English II’ menu tab, and English II Pre-AP students will see only their posts when they click the menu tab for their class. Is there a way to sort posts in this manner, or am I thinking about this task in the wrong way? Thank you for any help you can offer.

Create two post categories (Dashboard>Posts>Categories) one for each class. Every time you write an new post assign it to the corresponding category.
For the classes to be properly displayed on the menu you’ll have to create a custom menu (Appearance>Menus) and add the previously created categories (your classes) to that menu. -
The best idea for this is to put each post in categories.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/This will automagically create category pages for that category.
