Posts created with 3rd party editors

    An odd query! Some time ago (2014 to 2018) I was creating posts using Microsoft Word as at the time I was not happy using the inbuilt editor. The posts were saved locally on my computer and uploaded to my site when fully proofed.

    My query is this: if I delete the locally saved posts from my computer, will those posts also be deleted from my site? I don’t think they will, but I need to double-check.

    Hi there,

    Once the post is on your site, it’s a part of the WordPress system your site uses. Because of this if you delete local copies on your computer they would not be taken offline. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
