POSTS DELETED WEEKS AGO STILL SHOWING IN FEED

  Post that I have deleted weeks ago still showing in my website’s blog reader/feeder. My website link is darealprisonart.com. The blog in question is on the home page, on the right side of page. Under the heading “DAREALPRISONART ON WORDPRESS”. The feeder is from GoDaddy’s website builder.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  https://www.darealprisonart.com/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG and need support for that site and if you do not have a WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  We have a misunderstanding, I don’t have a wordpress.org site, I am wordpress.com only. My wordpress.com site is https://darealprisonart.wordpress.com.
  I have a blog reader on my website https://darealprisonart.com. That reader reads my darealprisonart.wordpress.com blog. This reader shows deleted post in that feed. And I want to know how to get rid of deleted posts that feed readers are picking up.
  My darealprisonart.wordpress.com blog feed posts are on the https://darealprisonart.com homepage

  @darealprisonart – Have you looked at the feed of your WordPress.com site to determine where the problem lies?

  When I looked at your WPcom site feed , it doesn’t show the last two posts from May 2 or May 5, which do appear in whatever widget you are using on your non-WPcom website. So the issue doesn’t appear to be from the WPcom end.

  FWIW-try removing the widget or code that you’re using on your self-hosted site and then add it back. That may cause a forced refresh.

  If you need more help with that, please check over at the support forums for self-hosted WP installs that timethief referred to.

  Yes I had done that several times and the widget still shows those deleted posts. I will look into the timethief suggestions that you have referred, but I don’t have a self hosting wordpress, only a feed reader widget on a as a website builder tool.

  Then the correct place to seek help would be wherever you are hosting the feed reader. There doesn’t seem to be a problem at this end.
