Posts disappearing

A bunch of my scheduled posts — for today and tomorrow — have gone missing …and when I try to schedule posts from my drafts, when I save after scheduling, the posts do not move to Scheduled. They stay in Drafts, although their status says “Scheduled.” Totally confused…

If the posts were created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

It appears to be more serious than that. I just attempted to update my one “Sticky” post to alert readers to the technical issue. The update appears to have been saved correctly but the change is not appearing in the sticky post on the site itself (and yes, I’ve flushed the browser cache…even tried a different browser).

It looks like I am able to schedule posts again. But a whole bunch of them did go missing, from this afternoon and some that were previously scheduled for tomorrow. Assuming they are gone for good… Just wondering if it was something I did (that I don’t want to do again), or if the system had a hiccup.

I’m unclear about what happened but Staff may be able to clear that up when they work their way forward to this thread.

Hello there, I see a great deal of Drafts that are scheduled to publish tomorrow at fulltextreports.wordpress.com/. Could you tell me what posts have disappeared? Did they disappear after you scheduled them? Or had you only saved them as drafts when they went missing?

Several of the items I originally had scheduled to post today disappeared (after they were already scheduled). Also, a few that I tried to post yesterday afternoon went into a black hole somewhere directly after I scheduled them. Because of the nature of this blog, the posts can be and are usually scheduled a day or so ahead, as I work on it when I have bits and pieces of time.
This being said, things seem back to normal today. I have to assume it was a temporary glitch in the system.
