Posts display as being written “By [Category]”?

  Hi all. I’ve noticed a snafu where instead of showing the actual author name — me, Dan — all of my posts display as being written by their respective post category. See below. Is there a way to fix this, or is this just an inherent “feature” of my chosen theme? Many thanks in advance!
