posts display overlapping side to side

  I noticed for the past few days my posts have overalapped side to side. I have lost all the matter at the side; search button, links, etc

  I thought it was one post gone wrong so I went in & deleted that; but now the previous one just pops into its place. So the most recent post is on top, but the one just before it bumps to the side…

  the theme is connections, there are 11 widgets.

  any tips appreciated. I’d like to get it back to the way it was…
