Hello! For some reason my posts are defaulting to oldest to newest on my homepage, and I can’t figure out how to make them display from newest to oldest. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello @fmkalldaypod,

You can refer to this support article to Show your Posts in Chronological Order

    Hope this help, thank you.

    Hi,

I found that before I posted, but it’s not helpful, as that explains how to make it do what it’s *currently* doing and I want it to do what it’s *supposed* to do. The article also makes it look like I would have to manually reorder every post I ever make, which is an awful hassle given that it’s not supposed to be doing what it’s doing in the first place.

Surely there’s a setting somewhere that got screwed up, and I can click a button or something to set it back to the default.

I’m having the same issue, will let you know if I find the fix

I finally figured it out!! I kept messing with it and always having the problem that my “intro” post was showing at the top even once I got the other posts properly ordered (and I wish I could tell you how I did that, I honestly have no idea what finally worked). Turns out I’d accidentally pinned the post to the top of the page by mis-clicking and activating a button on the edit screen for that post.

Likely this isn’t the problem you’re having, but on the off chance it is, see if that’s what’s going on for you too.

Oops, forgot I was logged in under my other account (I run two podcasts, both sites are through WordPress). But this is the OP coming back to verify that I fixed the issue.
