Posts dissapeared

  Hello I just upgraded and renewed my domain and when it finished renewing all my posts disappeared as well as the theme I had. My whole website is different. Thanks for you help in advance.

  Hi Mindy.

  I can see two different WordPress.com sites on your account: geektojourneychicdotnet.wordpress.com and geektojourneychic.wordpress.com.

  The first of these, geektojourneychicdotnet.wordpress.com, also has two custom domains associated with it: geektojourneychic.net and wingsofafeather.net. As wingsofafeather.net is set as the primary domain, visitors are always redirected there.

  I wonder if you meant for geektojourneychic.net to be associated with your other site.

  Can you take a look and let me know if geektojourneychic.wordpress.com contains the posts you’re looking for? If so, you can transfer geektojourneychic.net to that site via the My Upgrades page in WordPress.com:

  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  Let me know if that helps or if you’re still not seeing your posts at either of those addresses.

  Hey siobhyb,

  I’ve had a look and geektojourneychicdotnet.wordpress.com is redirecting to wingsofafeather.net which is what I want.

  However, whilst looking at wingsofafeather.net on my PC (using google chrome) it’s showing outdated content and i’m missing 6 months of blog posts.

  My friend however found my page using her iphone with the most recent content included.

  I can only assume there is some kind of problem associated with wordpress and different devices and/or web browsers.

  Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

  So I just googled my website again and saw that the most recent content I posted does display but once I click on the webpage it all goes back to the old page?

  Hi Mindy.

  The most recent posts that I’m seeing at wingsofafeather.net are from March. Is that correct for you too? If you haven’t already, could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies to see if you’re able to see the correct content then? Let me know how that goes.
