    Yeah I seem to be having the same problem – I have written a couple of pages that can only be seen when I ‘manage’ my pages, they have been published by they dont seem to be showing up on my blog! Last time I checked they actually WERE there and now they are not again!? Help!

    You need to clarify whether these were “Pages” or “Posts” because they’ll go to totally different places on your blog.

    harmonie, have you deleted any components of your blog like pages or anything since you started?

    Here are some things you can check harmonie.
    (1) Are you sure that on the General Options page your timezone is correct and that the posts weren’t saved as drafts to be published later.
    (2) Are you sure that your front page is set up to show posts? go here => Dashboard => Options => Reading
    Front page displays:
    Your latest posts
    A static page (select below)
    * Front page:
    * Posts page:
    If necessary correct the fields noted above and click “update options” to save.
    (3) Are you sure that the posts weren’t marked “Private” or “Draft” instead of “Published”?
    Here’s how to check:
    Go to Manage area and posts then click on the edit button for the post that is not showing up on the front page. Look at the blue buttons down the right hand side. Check the Post Status by clicking on the plus sign. Is the green dot on “Published”?
    (4) Check the Post Timestamp just one blue button below that (the last button) is it correct? If not tick the checkbox and correct the time and date. Now publish the post.

    Ok so I have checked all of that and cant seem to figure it out. It was definately marked ‘published’ when I saved it (I pushed ‘publish’ first), it is definately on ‘your latest posts’ in regards to the fron page setup. In ‘manage’ => pages it just has the pages listed with the last time they were edited, there are 4 there, however when I view my page or even log out and view it, there is only two pages there. The posts are fine, just page trouble. How would I know if I have set it to show up later?, as I said, it was there before but its gone now…?

    Oh and I did change my personal timezone, on my options page, to 13 hours ahead as its 5.45pm here, but pages were working fine before I altered this?

    But are you sure that you know the difference between pages and posts? http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/
    On your blog I see 4 pages and one post.

    Yup when I go into it (edit) it is checked as ‘published’

    I recommend you send in a feedback using the button on the top right hand corner of your blog (any page). Include a link back to this thread on the forum. Understand that if these Pages are marked published but are not appearing on your blog then your report amounts to a possible bug report. Forum volunteers do not have backend access so staff will have to sort this for you.

    ok thanks. I have just started a new post before you replied to this one because I didnt think I was going to hear back from you. I will do that now. Thanks for your help.

    Double-check your timestamps: if you changed the time set on your blog, but posted before you did that, it’s quite possible that the timestamp on each of those two lost posts is yet to come in your “new” time zone, and they’ll show up automatically. You can just go in and change them now to a time earlier today if you want them to show immediately.

    Exactly :) The only thing that can be changed from this end to effect a possible happy outcome is changing whatever the settings are now to what you need them to be.
