posts excerpts

hi,
i don’t get to have just the posts excerpt (and the featuring image if there is one) when i go in the differents categories of the menu. Even if i put “excerpt” in Setting>Reading>feed all the texts ands images of all the posts appears on the blog… how can i resolve this kinf of problem ?? thanks, coline

Happy to help you with this.
It looks like the more block would need to be used with this theme as seen here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/
The block would be placed after the paragraph in the content that would act as an excerpt.

Ah yes, that’s how this particular theme was designed. There’s no way to change that without just switching themes.
