Posts gone missing after successful import

    1. After successful import of blog in my website http://www.ganumbra.com/blog I can see all the posts and data correctly imported in database in my new hosting DB server.

    2. Blog related files and folders are correctly uploaded using FTP

    3. DB connection is successfully updated

    4. DB connection is successfully established

    5. When I open the url (www.ganumbra.com/blog) it asks for new installation of word press.

    6. If I proceed with installation , it creates duplicate tables in Database.

    7. Old and new tables co-exist, Old tables have the imported data new tables are empty. Only difference I can see is the database engine. Old tables have “InnoDB” and new ones have “myISAM”

    obviously with new installation all old posts are lost. WordPress blog starts with “Hello World”

    What could have gone wrong here ? How do I get the wordpress to display all imported posts ?
